Green and White Gala

We are very pleased to announce that James Blanchard, former Governor of Michigan, will be serving as special guest and host of the Green and White Gala’s VIP reception.

Other distinguished guests joining us at the  reception preceding the Gala, as well as the rest of the evening, are Mark Burnham, Vice President for Governmental Affairs at MSU; Sherman Garnett, Dean of James Madison College; Scott Westerman, Executive Director of MSUAA; Sarah Walter, Associate Vice President for Governmental Affairs at MSU; and,  our Distinguished Alumnus Award Recipient, Teresa Sullivan, President of the University of Virginia, accompanied by  her husband, Douglas Laycock,  professor of law at the University of Virginia.

Discounted tickets for the Green and White Gala will be on sale starting Monday, January 9th. The prices are as follows:

$100 for Young Alumni (graduated in’06 to ’11),

$115 for MSUAA tickets,

$150 for VIP Reception ticket,

and $125 for General Admission.

Prices will increase after February 17th.  Tickets are limited so make sure you buy them early at http://bit.ly/greenandwhitegala. Special Young Alumni pricing will be limited to the first 50 tickets purchased.

The VIP tickets will include an intimate reception with a distinguished alumni speaker. The VIP reception will begin at 6:00 PM.

 General admission will follow at 6:30 PM. The silent auction will close at 10:15 PM and dancing will continue until 11:00 PM.
